The Most Surprising And High Quality Piece Of Rubber In Our Wetsuit Test
Hurley’s premium suit is very warm and very comfy.
“Fuck, I really wanted to hate this suit,” said Jesse Guglielmana after wearing the Hurley Elite Advantage for the first time. Jesse works as a designer for Brixton, he makes some side money shaping surfboards, and during our trip only rode his own shapes. Before the wetsuit test, he told us that he hadn’t worn a chest zip in years. And, a wetsuit with logos on it is a bit beyond his comfort zone. So, when Jesse saw the stripes on the thigh, he shuddered. But, being that we were all required to test and analyze each and every suit. He wore it.
And, when he got out of the water, he was impressed. “This suit would be rad if it didn’t have those stripes down the leg, and I’m not really sure what those things on the wrist are all about. But, I guess some people dig it.”

As we all tried and tested the Hurley Elite Advantage 3mm, we all raved about its comfort. It’s easily the best wetsuit Hurley’s made, and it really fucking should be with the price tag of $750USD – the most expensive in the LUX suit category.
We’d prefer it without the stripes, but if you’re a high-performance doyen who has owned a white, pink or red wetsuit at any point in your life, the white stripes down the leg might be your first step of fading to black, while still wearing something that will separate you from the crowd during each and every air rev you (obviously) stick.
If you’ve got big pockets and love a little tech and flair, you can shop the Hurley Elite Advantage right here.
