You love Coco Ho.

We even have data to support this. In our annual reader poll, which is taken by over 7,000 surfers, Coco has finished in the top three for the past three years. No surprises there, though.

Her surfing delights. Her personality charms. And her career continues to evolve in directions we couldn’t have foreseen.

“A year ago, I wouldn’t have ridden these in anything over 2-foot waves. But now that I have, I’ve found a new little love for surfing,” she told us in December of 2021 after exploring alt boards in her Electric Acid Surfboard Test. Statements like this tend to mean more when they come from someone who spent over a decade on the CT.

Earlier this year, along came Coco’s own women-focused surfboard company (the world’s first at this scale): XO Coco.

But her creative itch didn’t stop there.

And now, Coco has partnered with her longtime sponsor Swatch to help design a surf watch for their new Proteam collection, which features timepieces aligned with four of their team riders across different sports. The premise for Coco’s watch is simple: Something that wouldn’t look out of place in the lineup at the Rockies or a biz meeting in LA. It’s called the Coco Ho Blu, and it feels like a horological compliment to her surfing — stylish without being try-hard.

Coco and Swatch brought the watch to life with a tasteful shoot in Fiji.

She’s also been busy helping plan Swatch’s Nines event, which she’ll be hosting in Waco this October. See the full Proteam collection here, and keep an eye out for a full interview with Coco in the coming weeks.
