Six Curated Items For Gifters And Self-Indulgers On Black Friday
A shopping list to make life easier!
Prepared or not, the first official day of the Christmas shopping period is upon us and blood pressures are only going to elevate from here on out.
November arrives, the annual parties start stacking and one day you wake up, horribly out of shape and it’s the 24th day of December.
The warning signs were there, the decorations emerged, the tinsel and mistletoe, but in a drunken haze you’re social life took the wheel and now you’re looking down the barrel of a lengthy shopping list and an overpopulated shopping mall carpark – fantastic!
Black Friday is one of the first of a handful of ecom sale events that rolls out during the early stages of the season. Retailers load their shelves with new product, then begin a kind of arm’s race, slashing prices in the hopes of turning as much stock as they can to wipe out competition and hit revenue targets before the deathly Boxing Day trade arrives.
What that means for us consumers is we have our first opportunity to grab a few items under RRP and receive another warning that C-day is approaching.
So make life easy for yourself, shop now, do it digitally and avoid those dreaded checkout queues. Or completely forfeit the capitalist manufactured Christmas facade. Better yet, why not simply treat yourself?
Here’s a handful of Stab faves from SurfStitch’s freshest markdown list, presented for your consideration. Get at them now before the promo ends or the aforementioned day arrives…
If the name doesn’t sell it, the easy wearing nature of this collared number will. If not for yourself it’ll fit with any friend or relative’s current rotation.
Practical purchases are intelligent purchases. One thing that’ll never go out of fashion is a bag to carry your/your giftee’s prized possessions around the globe. This one will carry and protect three.
The easiest no-look gift one can buy is a graphic printed tee shirt. If you’re liking the look of this one, hold onto it yourself.
