One Summer Day Spent With Kai Ellice-Flint And A Super 8 Camera
A gallery and short film to enjoy.
Ah, the stereotypical summer day on Australia’s easterly shores; the water’s delightful, trunks are a must and so is a board of significant volume. Something that’ll match the the laid-back tempo of the Tasman Sea during the months between December and February. Kai Ellice-Flint, much-loved member of The Critical Slide Society family, is handy in the XXL craft department. He and pal Benjy Fodor, deflated the tyres and clocked a bunch of sand miles in search of a lonely bank to steer a log and expose some super 8 film. Movers And Shapers is the edit they cut from the day, a couple of minutes of nostalgic viewing with a 70’s homemade sheen. Please enjoy.
