If You Have The Means, 7TILL8 Makes The Best Luxury Suit Of The Year

After a week up the Central Northern Coast sampling more wetsuits than anyone should ever wear in five days, one thing became apparent, Yamamoto Japanese Neoprene is superior to all the rest. 

It’s a fact. 

From the moment you slide a suit constructed out of the Yama, you feel it. It on like it was soaked in silk. It grasps your skin and makes you feel warm and cuddly as if you were wearing a fleece bathrobe while tickling a kitten.

During our wetsuit test where Noah Wegrich, Blair Conklin, Jesse Gugliemana and I spent five days sampling anywhere from three to six wetsuits a day in the search for the best wetsuits of 2018, the 7Till8 was an all-round hit.  

While a suit from the boutique wetsuit company stationed in Los Angeles will run you $580USD, the care that goes into each piece is bar none. All their suits are custom, in order to get one you must get sized, fitted and then they’ll hand construct a suit using the finest Japanese rubber. 

The suits cost a pretty penny, but after all four of us ran through our 7TILL8 customs, it was obvious, you get what (or more than!) you pay for. 

From comfort, to look, to flex, warmth and all those fluffy things that make a wetsuit tick, the 7till8 reigned supreme in the Champagne and Caviar category (Luxury suits over $450USD). 

The suit strays from the logo heavy designs and leaves a small 7TILL8 hit on the back right shoulder. Other than that, the suit is plain, clean and discreet.
