What do you wear when anything you sport looks fantastic?

Stab genuinely believe there are few things in this world more seductive than a distinguished gaze. You’ll never get the sun to stop damaging your peepers, but a good pair of shades can help.

As surf enthusiasts, ultraviolet light is a constant. It will have long-term effects on our vision and turn skin to a scaley leather handbag.

Best case, it’s kinda nothing. Like the end of a new-to-market antibiotic infomercial, some side effects may include: sore, irritated and, at times, dry eyes, pterygiums or “Surfers Eye,” or in very rare cases blindness and death…

But let’s talk pterygiums – those pesky growths stretched over your eyes due to sun abuse. There are methods to minimise this sight leech. Like, sunglasses! Unless doctor recommended, don’t wear sunnies in the lineup. That’ll never be in vogue.

But at the lookout? On your way to brunch? Hiding from a hangover? Sure, why not.

Julian Wilson Oakley Frogskins Lite

Mr Wilson maintains 20/20 vision and a discreet wandering eye (kidding, of course), with the reflective lens of his Oakley Frogskin Lites.

Oakley Latch Prizm

And here’s a dreamy composition featuring those Latch frames – as modelled up top – with Oakley’s highly technical, highly protective Prizm lenses.
