For When Flex And Warmth Are Of The Essence
A quality 3/2mm by Quiksilver.
Quik sent us one suit for our wetsuit test, convinced it would lead the way in the warmest 3/2mm category. It did not, however it did get third, which is a bronze medal and due to the fact that the first place finisher, the Rip Curl Heat Seeker runs $500USD, Quiksilver’s Highline Plus fared just fine in the cold waters of Ocean Beach, San Francisco.

When it comes to wetsuits, Quiksilver typically isn’t the first brand that comes to mind, but after trying and testing their 3/2mm, we will happily endorse it to anyone who has not interest in spending upwards of $400USD on a wetty.
If you live in a temperate climate like Southern California or Sydney, add this slice of rubber for your winter needs at home. And, if it’s your only suit, combine it with a good pair of booties and you’ll be fine in water temps that are pushing brain freeze.

Quik claims it to be their warmest and most flexible wetsuit they’ve ever made. After Blair Conklin’s first wear in the suit, he came onto the beach stating, “Well, I never expected the Quiksilver to be a suit that I dug. But, the thing was really comfy, had minimal leakage and kept me super warm.”
If you dig the techy design of ultimate performance, you can shop the Highline Plus here.
