Are You Smarter Than A 15-Year-Old Surfer?
Take the Stab Innocents quiz to find out.
This year, we debuted our youth-based surf film concept, Craig Anderson and the Stab Innocents, to the world.
It featured one veritable surf icon (Craig) and six aspiring pros (Jai Glindeman, Levi Slawson, Al Cleland Jr., Winter Vincent, Jarvis Earle, and Kobi Clements) on an eight-day boat trip to the Telo Islands, where the crew surfed, fished, drank juice boxes, and watched way too many surf movies.
At the end of the trip, we had Craig deliver a quiz to his six little minions, based on historical but mainly contemporary surf knowledge. Here’s the breakdown:
- the questions are multiple choice
- there are 36 questions total (12 on airs, 12 on tubes, 12 on face surfing)
- the winner got priority on three waves of his choice
- the loser had to pack a pit on the captain’s kneeboard
If you’ve already watched Innocents (see above), you know that Levi Slawson won with 28/36 (78%) correct answers and Kobi Clements lost with 18/36 (50%). Kobi then proceeded to break the captain’s kneeboard which is a comical highlight of the film (seriously, see above!).
Anyways, we wanted to know if our readers could do better than a bunch of Instagram-obsessed adolescents. The questions aren’t that hard, we don’t think, but we will be impressed if someone gets a perfect score.
