A Wetsuit Advertisement That We Particularly Enjoyed

Yes, they have the air of a low budget Wes Anderson knock-off, but that’s their charm. It’s different for surfing and we like that. While most companies try and sell us on stretch and seamless neoprene (which let’s be honest, wetsuit tech hasn’t changed much in the last couple years), Vissla allows their quirk to do the talking. 

This advert for the Seven Seas Wetsuit – an affordable and comfortable piece of rubber – is a throwback to the Powell Skateboards “Search for Animal Chin” starring Tony Hawk, Steve Cabarello and Mike Mcgill from the late 80s.

Cam Richards stars in “The Hunt for the 7 Seas.” The short features a little surfing and a loose storyline of two men lost in the search. 

We’ve tried and tested the 7 Seas, and it’s hard to beat the quality of this suit for the price. A 3/2 will run you just under $200 United States Dollars.
