A Warm Hearted Hustle
Last night at the Quiksilver Pro’s favourite venue, Komune Beach House, Stab and Nike 6.0 held a party: A Warm Hearted Hustle. As was the case with Stab‘s last party at a pool mansion in Vaucluse, the rain put a stop to visions of grandeur involving bathers, poolside margaritas, sun and warm-heartedness. But, also similarly to the last party, weather did nothing to tarnish fun. Nike 6.0 riders Julian Wilson and Laura Enever were the stars of the night: To enter, guests walked through a 10-meter high version of the image you see above (which is Julian throwing a peace shape during Stab‘s Canary Islands wave-pool shoot), and a cocktail called ‘The Laura’ was served. A bed set up in one closed-off corner of the bar made for a kinky photo-booth – the end result of which you’ll see properly real soon. For now, enjoy the voyeuristic shots from side of stage…
