A Sunny Disposition: Stu Gibson

Not many people are lucky enough to have a job that finds them in boardshorts everyday. It’s just a fact. Unless you’re going to make it as a professional surfer – and let’s face it, you’re probably not – chances are you’re going to spend your time bolted to a desk in an office cubicle, or digging holes. However, there’s a select few who’ve really thought about this vocation thing, and have sculpted their lifestyle so that they can spend the majority of the sunlight hours wearing boardshorts. These are the stories of these visionaries. Welcome to a Sunny Disposition.   Now, let’s meet:   Stu Gibson   You’ve certainly seen Stu Gibson’s work before. If not his compelling drone footage, much of which is filmed on the hidden points of Tasmania, or his gripping angles of Shipsterns, then surely his pristine view of Fiji and all her divine tropical faces. The latter of which is where we dive into the shocking blue with him today. One of the best shooters in the game right now, Stu’s values certainly suit those of Rip Curl’s The Search – live for the chase, and spend as much time in the water as possible. Here he swims around in some of Rip Curl’s finest and offers a snapshot of his very enviable reality.   Get at Rip Curl’s excellent boardshort collection, here!
