Stab Podcasts: The Unredeemable Surf Sin
“I don’t think there’s a punishment that’s harsh enough for this one.”
We’ve all done shitty things in pursuit of selfish surfing experiences.
Missing long-held dates with loved ones due to an unexpected wind shift; selling a friend on an average one because you saw something darker out the back; back-paddling that guy on the wave of the day.
Maybe you’ve even “stolen” a surfboard.
All of these acts are deplorable, but with enough time and groveling, they’re also forgivable. The surf sin we received on this week’s episode of The Drop is anything but.
I don’t want to reveal too much, because you really have to listen to Teddy’s entire 3-minute, rollercoaster ride of an admission to get the full picture, but let’s just say he took “borrowing” a friend’s parent’s surfboard to a level heretofore unseen.
Also on this show, Mike and Stace dissect Surf100 Mexico, then have its winner Mason Ho on for a right good banter. Listen on Soundcloud, Spotify, or Apple Pods, ‘Stab Podcasts’ will get you in the door.
