With the US Open taking over Huntington Beach, Buck and Danny break down the chaos surrounding the event. Aside from the tap dance of desperation for the inside section, the event brings its own touch of nightlife and shenanigans.

One of those parties is a movie premiere for the highly anticipated Snapt 4. I’m no mixologist, but a hand-selected crew of the world’s best freesurfers competing for $100k worth of prizes seems like a pretty tasteful concoction.

We folks over at Stab HQ have a few important announcements to make ourselves. The first being a new series called being Stab Highway. Ever watch Thrasher’s King Of The Road? Refer here, but picture competitors screwing in fins instead of trucks.

Our second announcement is a plan to save the dying importance of the so-called “Surf Edit.” It seems each YouTube clip has blended into one repetitive short film that we’ve seen a thousand times over. Let’s spice that up, shall we?
