Introducing “The Drop” Stab’s Podcast Hosted By Shane Dorian And Nathan Webster
Episode 001: Kolohe Andino on lady jeans, living up to the hype, and the trials and tribulations of being young, talented, and really, really good looking.
Hey world, guess what… we have a podcast! Go ahead and get the “Welcome to 2010” jokes out of your system because 1. You can’t rush excellence and 2. You’re gonna fucking love this thing.
I know that’s a heavy call but, hear me out.
Our co-hosts for the podcast, which I should mention is called “The Drop”, are Shane Dorian and Nathan ‘Noodles’ Webster. Both started as upper-echelon pros, and in the last decade one has become the undisputed king of big waves, the other a major surf industry mogul. Shane practically owns Jaws, Noodles started RVCA Australia, and both remain hyper-vigilant of the modern day surfing world. In this way, Dorian and Webster can speak with knowledge and experience about almost anything surf-related and make it entertaining.
For episode one of “The Drop,” Shane and Noodles spoke with Kolohe Andino, San Clemente’s child-star-turned-top-10 surfer. Instead of the typical platitudes, Kolohe laid bare his internal struggles of transitioning into adulthood. Go on, hit play.
As the Pipe Masters is underway today, and some of this conversation is pertinent to the greatest show on earth, we’re launching our maiden voyage. The Drop is coming soon to iTunes and will be available wherever you get your podcast fix.

Welcome to the glamorous life of three men talking about surfing into a microphone.
