Ain’t That Swell Covers Everything In Surfing Except For Margies

Jed, Vaughan and tsunami surviving former world number 1, Bob Bain, chat Mick’s retirement, kamikaze shots with Kelly Slater and John’s lack of heat wins.

I don’t know what firecracker’s landed up the behinds of surfing’s second best podcast, but Jed and Deadly have been blasting out the Ain’t That Swell episodes quicker than ever.

Margies was just around the corner at the time of recording, but there ain’t a single mention of the Margies Pro here from the boys

Instead, they cover everything from kamikaze shots with Kelly Slater alongside One Direction’s former front man, the former bong and nose beer laden days of the world tour, absolute overuse of the word “cone” and we learn that going for a kiss after interviewing Courtney Conologue is an absolute no go.

The boys also cover the rumours surrounding an Ain’t That Swell LP compiled of the airwaves best: ‘He’s Mick Fanning’, ‘What’s Kelly Thinking?’, ‘The Wavepool Song’ and a whole lot more of musical abuse you wish you’d never been subject to.

As always, the gents also lend too much time to the internal dialogues of the overly coned listeners and rack their brains over the finest ‘questions’ – if you can call them that – submitted to their DMs.

If you have two hours put aside, or even if you’re just sick of reading about surfing and want to blast your ears instead, then tune in and drop out for the following onslaught.

You won’t be looking at surfing the same way ever again.
