DC’s back in surf, they’ve got a bare bones team, and featuring these two gents. But, they’ve also threw on Bruce Irons with a few sips of nostalgic Kool-Aid and a signed cheque, along with Leonardo Fioravanti. Their hiatus from the surf world is over, and we like that. Because they’re a company that supports big ideas, they like flare and overly cushy shoes (which have slimmed down to match the trends of 2016). They’re the same folks that sent Robbie Madison on a dirt bike out at Chopes. When we spoke to Bruce about it, a year back, before reuniting (and feeling so good!), he said, “You don’t go to Teahupoo and not get barrelled. Give me that thing; I’ll pull in off the West Bowl.” And, that’s something we’d like to see. So DC, if you wanna rehash an idea, there’s one for you.
