Youngwisetails is Back With A Fresh Hawaii Edit

Do you remember the era of the pro surfer blog? There was DionTV (Dion Agius), 3!Slobs (Andrew Doheny, Ford Archbold and Kyle Kennelly), Salty Beards (Nick Rosza), Marinelayer (you better know this one), Creative Destruction (Wade Goodall), Out 2 Brunch (Matty Wilko), and so many more. It was a wonderful moment in history where pro surfers took the initiative to create their own content, and in that way, their own destiny. 

Conner and Parker Coffin, with their Youngwisetails blog, were very much part of this movement. But then everyone stopped doing it. I don’t know what happened exactly, but somewhere along the line everybody thought “Nah, fuck this,” and stopped uploading. At the time I was a ravenous teen surf fan, so you could imagine my disappointment. 

But just now, Conner and Parker have brought back their wonderful platform with a new video from Hawaii. It’s got surfing, comedy and shenanigans and I think you should watch it right now.

Also Dane, if you’re listening, Marinelayer was one of the best things every to happen in surfing so please don’t be afraid to bring that back as well.
