And what the hell are we—the wider surf-consuming community—going to do for another two months (minimum) without WSL events to complain about?

Really makes you think, doesn’t it? That all of our whinging is at least partially unwarranted, considering how much value we derive from those damn CT events. Because now that they’re gone, we’re, well…lost. 

“How lost are you?”

So lost that we might be forced to surf more ourselves to fill the void.

Terrifying!

Or, alternatively, you could watch episode one (season 2) of Red Bull’s “All In”, which follows Steph Gilmore and Kanoa Igarashi on their quest for world domination (or at least top 5 on the CT). 

Yep, that sounds much safer than getting our own feet wet.
