Who Would’ve Thought A Belgium-Born Sixteen Year-Old Could Ride Tubes This Well?

Remember way back in July when Indo was rumbled by that mega pulse?

A lot of spots didn’t like it. Others lit up. 

Apparently this wave isn’t usually a thing, but this swell packed enough juice to make it come to life. 

While the rediscovery a forgotten blue freight train is a story in itself, the main reason why we’re retrieving our jaws off the floor right now is that the young gent you’ll see threading them above is only 16 years old. And from Belgium *mic drop*.

Well of course Arpad Leclere didn’t get that good at holding a line in waves like this stomping around his European homeland. No, he’s actually had ample practice growing up in Bali. Makes a bit more sense, yeah?

No doubt we’ll be seeing more from him.
