Who Would Win In A Neoprene-Bound Duel: Brendon Gibbens Or Nate Tyler?
Let’s find out in Manera’s new film, Due West.
When we say the name “Andy Irons”, what comes to mind?
It’s probably powerful, aggressive, and stylish surfing…in a pair of patella-length boardshorts.
But what about Pete Devries? His name conjures images of technical, lanky, and stylish surfing…in a hooded 5-4-3.
Certain surfers, based mostly on their place of origin, convey different images in our minds in regard to surfwear. Brendon Gibbens and Nate Tyler, for instance, feel slightly out of place in a pair of boardshorts. They look, and surf, best in a full-body leotard and fancy rubber shoes.
It’s just science.
In a recent Manera film, made in conjunction with Perry Gershkow, Nate and Brendon battle for neoprene supremacy. So, who looks best in a wetsuit after all? We’ll let you decide.
The winner will take on the final boss, in his native Vancouver Island.
