Jason Momoa, actor, 39, was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and became internationally known for his role as Kahl Drogo in the sci-fi thriller Game of Thrones.

Since his character was killed off by a beguiling witch, Jason has landed himself some huge film roles, including his most recent effort a DC’s underwater superhero Aquaman

Being from Hawaii, Momoa grew up in the water and is actually quite nimble on many a surfcraft.

Perhaps that’s why he’s taken such a liking to the North Shore’s Koa Rothman. So much so that Momoa’s appeared in two recent episodes of This Is Livin’, including a brief video chat with Koa a couple weeks back, and in today’s feature, inviting Koa to attend the Hawaii premiere and afterparty for his Aquaman film.

While we’re not sure exactly how hard they got down that night, Momoa was seen lifting Koa – who is no small creature himself – above his head for a potential bodyslam. Instead Momoa placed Koa graciously on his feet, allowing the fellow Hawaiian to surf fun-looking Pipeline for the next week.
