Vans Stab High Indonesia, Presented By Monster Energy, Episode 4

Did we just see the best air ever done?

Watch more of Vans Stab High Indonesia, Presented by Monster Energy here, Episode 1Episode 2, and Episode 3.

Two people are going to win Vans Stab High Indonesia, presented by Monster Energy (VSHIPBME), and take home $20k.

One of them is going to win an invite to Vans Pipe Masters.

But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, we’ve got to figure out who’s winning the Monster Air.*

We thought about spoiling this surprise from the fourth and final episode of VSHIPBME, but then we reconsidered. So we’ll leave the guessing up to you. Who do you think it will be? (A) Matt Meola (B) Noa Deane (C) Bronson Meydi or (D) None Of The Above?

Shane Sykes validates the size of the swell on the morning of the final.

Whoever it is, they’ll join Mateus Herdy, Dakota Walters, Shaun Manners, and Robbie McCormick in the men’s final. Meanwhile, the Ladybirds final consists of Caity Simmers, Sierra Kerr, Bella Kenworthy, Quincy Symonds.

Now, you may be wondering why the term Monster Air has an asterisk up there. That’s because someone can go massive in the final, and steal it from the leader, to win the $15k prize. We’ll just leave it at that.

The Ladybirds queued up to take their final by storm.

You’ve already watched Ep 1, Ep 2, and Ep 3. It’s time to reach this year’s conclusion.

Both finals are 90 minutes long. The Ladybirds who landed rotations in their Round 2 heats — Bella and Sierra — have the lineup to themselves for 30 minutes before the girls who landed rotations while freesurfing — Caity and Quincy — join them for the last hour. The men wait for what they believe will be the ideal tide, and all five surfers get the full 90 minutes.

The moment you’ve all been waiting for.

It proves to be enough to make a grown man cry.

“This means fucking everything to me,” one of our champions proclaims at the end.

Fair enough. See you at Pipeline, ___________.
