Jamie Krups is a multi-talented individual. I first wrote a little blurb about him over two years ago when he was riding for Hurley – back when all I knew was that he had a knack for talking to members of the opposing sex and was pretty good at airs for a kid who grew up in Manly.

Later that year Mr. Krups showed up at the Stab office proceeding to pen a few articles for us, help our creative head, Shinya Dalby, with some design, and put the remainder of the office to shame during a lunchtime surf.

Since then Jamie has parted ways with his former sponsor, but has produced more ‘content’ than ever before: he produced the independent surf film, FAIRY, released his own grip brand, Ballet, and penned a couple of articles for our friends at Monster Children

Despite all this, his surfing output hasn’t been negatively impacted. He’s still surfing really well, editing his own clips, and managed to make the most of a recent trip down the coast during May’s much-lauded swell.

The above clip is compiled of excerpts from the aforementioned FAIRY, which you can watch in full below, as well as a number of clips from a well-known south-coast wedge. It’s worthy viewing in its own right, but knowing Jamie’s repertoire outside surfing just makes it all the more jealousy-inducing.
