We’re five days, 15 hours, and 27 minutes away from Lower Trestles long awaited return as a regular season CT stop, and the mid-year cut survivors are trickling in from West Aus. 

In turn, the past few days in San Clemente have seen the first pulse of worthwhile South swell since early May — coming in around 3.7ft@16sec from 198 deg. Courtesy of some unruly channel winds and a bit of windswell, the result hasn’t quite been razor-sharp peaks, but the cobblestone arena has still been perfectly serviceable as a practice venue.
