Watch: Julian Wilson And Craig Anderson’s Cloudbreak Preview

B-sides from arguably the best edit this year: Wayward.

Isn’t this timely? Meanwhile, at the very same break, Courtney Conlogue is reminiscing on sunrises and Tati Weston-Web is snorkelling, presumably. The girl’s final has been pushed back to the first day of the men’s waiting period. But let’s give Court and Tati some surf, they deserve it.

Back to this timely thing: The B-sides from Julian Wilson’s Wayward edit, where Jules, filmmaker Jimmy Lees, Ando and Lee Wilson surfed the guts out of Bali, Oz and Fiji and around the web, critics claimed, “surf edit of the year!”. It was February. Today, that accolade remains and we accept these clips that didn’t make the final cut (and its player that doesn’t quite cooperate with our site) with open arms. The combination of Jules and Ando at Cloudbreak takes style and performance in strides. While Craig highlines and cranks around on his forehand, Julian attacks the lip with fervour and reminds us just how good he is at the break.

So who’s ready for that girl’s final?
