Watch: Ian Crane, Eithan Osborne, Parker Coffin And The Snapt 4 Crew In Palm Springs!
Cheyne Magnusson and Kalani Robb host the Snapt4 California squad for a day at the Palm Springs Surf Club Test Pool.
Since first sticking their WaveLoch pneumatic blowers in the original Wet and Wild Palm Springs pool (made famous by Rick Kane in North Shore), Cheyne Magnusson—wave engineer, former MTV Maui Fever star—has been fiddling with the dials.
While the PSSC raises the last few stacks they need to realize the project, Cheyne’s taken the opportunity to really learn the ins and outs of the SurfLoch tech, and has been hosting a few lucky souls to give each new wave he designs a run.
A week or so back, we got tipped off that Logan Dulien was bringing his Snapt 4 California squad—Ian Crane, Eithan Osborne, and Parker Coffin—to the pool to film them on some of Cheyne’s pneumatic experiments.
In fact, our resident drama queen snuck in for the afternoon, and came back with a dozen tabs open on her browser to parcels of land between Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. She’ll have her story filed by day’s end, she swears, with all the details behind the PSSC’s radical oasis.
In the meantime click into the edit above, a Snapt4 short by Logan and Alani Media with just the right type of swing to it.
