Watch: Griffin And Crosby Are The Best Brothers On Tour Since…

Mikey and Owen? CJ and Damo? Shea and Cory? Andy and Bruce?

Based on their 2024 CT ranking (3 & 10), Griffin and Crosby Colapinto are the most high-octane tour bros since Andy and Bruce*, but without the brutal scraps and smashed vodka bottles.

Instead, long walks and heartfelt talks. Benders swapped for brunch. Rivalry traded for chivalry.

Still, the Cola boys have a bit of animus in them — mostly directed at innocent sections — and they’ve just dropped a 22-minute highlight reel on their YouTube channel to prove it. The edit captures the brothers’ first year on tour together, and is mostly filled with freesurfs outside of work hours. The opening section from The Box is particularly worthy of your eye time.

At the 11-and-a-half-minute mark, a frosted-tipped Griffin yanks off his shirt and tosses it to a gaggle of squealing fans, while Nirvana’s ‘Drain You’ roars in the background. When did Griff learn to strut around like a naughty kingpin? How much did the boys pay these young people to pretend to care about surfing? Is Griffin more of a Daniel Johns figure or a modern Kurt Cobain? More questions than answers, but we’re here for the spectacle.

Jokes aside, it’s pretty damn special to be roaming the globe with your brother, living out your childhood dream, and having it all documented by professional filmmakers. Hats off to the dimple-cheeked boys from San Clemente.

If you haven’t copped it already, watch Griff in Trilogy, here.

Also, watch Griffin and Crosby’s feature film DNA (made by Stab and Monster) here:

*Best brother finishings in the 21st century:
– CJ and Damo finished 1st and 10th in 2001
– Andy and Bruce finished 2nd and 9th in 2005
– Griffin and Crosby finished 3rd and 10th in 2024
