Cole Houshmand Gets Crapped On By A Bird, Proceeds To Score Out Of His Mind
Smooth, surgical lines from the San Clemente gentleman in ‘Good Luck’.
Luck.
(def) 1.) success or failure brought by chance rather than through one’s own actions. 2.) An external force of sorts that causes things to happen.
In surfing, we’re affected pretty heavily by luck. For all the predictive forecasts, charts, and models we have at our fingertips, sometimes, for unforeseen and unknown reasons, we often get short-changed at the last minute. Wind swings, tides change, swell dies. ‘Bad luck, mate. Should’ve been here yesterday.’
Occasionally the reverse happens, and it all comes together in our favor. We get a dream run in patchy slop, an uncontested set at a wave at a localized spot, glass off after the crowds paddled in.
Here, San Clemente powerhouse Cole Houshmand makes the most of a string of good fortune in Bali and the Ments.
Guy can thread a tube and has a silky rail game.
