There are only a few circumstances where dramatic music usage in surf doesn’t reek of overcompensation, one of these exceptions is pretty much anything starring Beth Hamilton. 

Each time we see her clear another monumental milestone, we’re forced to take a good, hard look in the mirror, a moment of reflection that asks, ‘is there nothing that cannot be achieved if the mind is put to proper use?’
