Shizunami’s Provocative Chlorine Ramp Continues To Tempt Us

The Evan Geiselman edit we posted a few weeks back sparked quite the interest in Japan’s latest wave pool.

The air section was steeper than anything we’ve seen before and offered a diverse assortment of sections. If you paid really close attention to the edit, however, you might have noticed the Volcom posters plastered alongside the pool. It turns out the Florida man wasn’t the only surfer on the premises looking to fill a hard drive.

The Volcom Japan team had their own sessions booked, including surfers Takayuki Wakita, Yujiro Tsuji, Taichi Wakita, Guy Sato, and Sara Wakita. They have released their own rendition of what it’s like to launch from the most sought-after artificial air section, which you can interpret for yourself here.
