Varial Foam Takes On The North Shore

No matter what foam you’re riding, the North Shore looked stupendously fun this past winter.  

Ranging from throaty Backdoor Pipe to head-high Hawaiian runners, there was a watery slope to suit everyones needs over the winter and the Varial Surf team ensured they were amongst it all. 

It’s claimed that Varial Foam is 30% stronger and 25% lighter but it’s also true that the waves which lap against the Hawaiian shorelines are 300% better than anything else you’ll find at your local. The clip probably won’t convince you to abandon your standard PU, but it will remind you how good Hawaii can be, as well as just how damn well Shane Dorian surfs.
