Timo Simmers Is A Lot More Than Caity’s Little Brother

Toasted Media presents: Zombie Invasion.

Surfing needs the Simmers siblings. That’s not hyperbole. That’s just a fact.

Caity, obviously, is a world champ, the current world No. 1, the one who dragged the roundhouse back from competitive exile and made style matter again. She might be the spiritual heir to Dane Reynolds, or at the very least, something he’d nod at approvingly between sips of Coors Light

Timo, on the other hand, is no mere nepo-sibling. Sure, he’s got famous blood, but the kid rips — does it with style, too. Like Caity, he grew up worshipping Dane Reynolds, as any self-respecting young Californian should. He also just dropped a very enjoyable edit on Toasted Media.

No word on why it’s called Zombie Invasion, but the title feels apt — given the scent of climatic Armageddon hanging in the air. One side of Australia is drowning, the other has brushfire warnings, and Los Angeles just logged its most destructive inferno in history. Feels like the apocalypse is warming up in the bullpen.

The Simmers siblings might be our best shot at salvation.
