Born in Brisbane and raised on Australia’s Gold Coast, 21-year-old Ivy Thomas is gliding through the chaotic world of surfing. Ivy’s day is filled with surfing, day time beers, and Rolling Stones records. Honestly, if it weren’t for that pet rat, I’d be asking to move in. Sorry Hank, you’re kind of cute, but I’m protective of my snacks.

Ivy also breaks down the basics of her pro model shaped by Corey Munn— tapered stringers, concaves, roll—the young lady understands the mechanics of a decent log. I hope she has an equal understanding of the suspension on her car because doing donuts is playing with fire. What is that thing anyway, a Holden? Is it like an Australian El Camino? Regardless, I want one.
