There’s a couple of names synonymous with West Oz tube pigs.

Jay Davies is one of them.

After making a professional surfing career work for fifteen years, JD decided it was time to begin his next chapter in late 2019, transitioning fulltime to a tugboat worker with his Honest Ale beer venture that he co-founded with Taj Burrow and Dino Adrian, simmering away on the backburner.

With the stature of a silverback gorilla, JD’s frame is hard to miss. “I’m basically just this upside down A-frame. Tiny hips, no ass and then huge shoulders. It’s a funny shape. I’ve got the smallest legs in mankind on the longest torso of all time. Full neanderthal/silverback gorilla,” Jay told Stab in a 2020 interview

Rock solid, powerful, but strangely nimble above the lip, JD’s 2020 edit, ‘Spirit’ earned him a second spot in Stab’s EOTY for his heavy water tube wizardry, steampunk rail-burying and panache above the lip, despite putting it together in between pulling rope for 40 hours a week.

In this latest clip produced by Creatures, Jay, now sporting a couple grey hairs, takes ‘stress leave’ in the desert West knifing thicc monsters with his thicc frame and displacing thicc pales of Indian Ocean with his outside rail.

Watch the silver fox’s stress less strike mission.
