The Four Seasons Maldives Champions Trophy is THE event you want an invite to. It’s an all-expense-paid comp hosted by the Four Seasons that features only seven competitors on a tiny speck of sand known as Kuda Huraa.

When the waves are one, they surf and round one (single fin) kicked off yesterday. When the waves are off, the invitees indulge in five-star dining, massages, and lounge on the 100,000 dollar-per-week catamaran known as the Four Seasons Explorer. Round two consists of twinnies and round three is the thruster event – the competitors tally up points in each round. Also this year, they’ve included local wildcard Hussain “Iboo” Areef, who joins Beth, Shane, Rob, Jamie, Taj and Trav on this lavish retreat that blends the pampered life with sunburns and salt. “Everything’s just top notch,” says Rob. “No complaints here.”
