The Brilliant Reinvention Of Coco Ho
There is, in fact, life after the CT.
“Ebullient regularfoot pro surfer from Oahu.”
That’s how Coco Ho is described in Matt Warshaw’s often unsung Encyclopedia of Surfing.
Blessed with the enthusiasm, vivacity, and good spirits that run through the Ho family, Coco seems to have found something similar to her North Shore neighbour John John Florence after her final full year on the CT in 2019. While John has spent the better part of his sabbatical on a self-directed maritime tour of the planet, Coco has created her own version of life beyond the Tour.
Spending more time at home on her beloved North Shore, Coco has consistently built business ventures, developed fruitful partnerships with sponsors, conducted firsthand R&D for her female focused surfboard brand, and travelled extensively for work, pleasure, and a mixture of both.

DELIGHTS, a short film presented by Kona Big Wave, displays some of Coco’s finest performances across two primary playgrounds: the North Shore (with 68-year-young father Michael) and deep Sumatra, with a brief but unadvertised Fijian intermission.
It appears Coco has definitely found her new scene. Blue water. Fun boards. Dollars in the bank.
Eyes peeled for this one.
