Stephanie Gilmore Swooping Sets At Malibu Is A True Thing Of Beauty

With a little leftover south pulse in the water earlier this month, cell phones all over Los Angeles county lit up with reports of not only just fun-ish point surf north of Santa Monica’s dire, but also many a Steph Gilmore siting. 

“Where were you today!?” asked Travis Collings, Stab‘s favorite barman, who’d stepped away from the Surfrider Malibu across from First Point for an afternoon dip.

“I was getting fucking party waves with Stephanie Gilmore! She was ripping a little twin fin. It was epic!”

Anyhow, Steph sent over this clip she edited, filmed by multi-board ripper Harley Ingleby, and set to the tune of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons “You’re a song (that I can’t sing).”
