Welcome to Stab’s annual double-blind test to find the best high-performance shortboard on earth: Stab In The Dark.

This year, the star of the show is Jack Robinson. You may have heard of him? But, the big question is: Which shaper will be victorious? And, how will we get there?

This year’s lineup includes boards from Matt Biolos, Jon Pyzel, Timmy Patterson, James Cheal, Johnny Cabianca, Britt Merrick, Marcio Zouvi, Axel Lorentz, Darren Handley Jason Stevenson, Wade Tokoro, Eric Arakawa, and Glenn Pang. Every episode, some boards will be eliminated while others will advance to the final.

In episode four, Jack will declare a winner.

During the filming of the board reveal, Robbo was tipped off to a few key factors: the shapers included world title winners, former SITD winners, and three Hawaiian mainstays. These clues may or may not have impacted his guesses on which nose color corresponded with which shaper.

Nonetheless, the Western Australian prodigy took no less than one-and-a-half hours to give the boards a firm shakedown before determining his final answers.

So, how many boards do you think Jack guessed right? Press play above to find out. And to watch Episode 1 of Stab In The Dark in its entirety, click here. This is a Stab Premium exclusive.
