Soli Bailey Gets Tubed And Answers Questions

Soli Bailey grew up near Byron Bay. A town associated with good waves (and sharks), but one which rarely lends itself to thriving competitive surfers.

Soli, however, is an outlier. The 23-year old is currently sitting 16th on the QS, and while he’s an outside chance, could see himself scrape into the cut-off if he surfs at Sunset like he does above. He’s got big punts, grit in a tube, and enough weight to bury a rail without skipping out; two of which are staples to success at the last 10,000 point QS of the schedule.  

Despite enduring the qualification grind for most of 2018, Soli still managed to accrue a number of jersey-less keepers.  

The above clip, titled ’21 Questions’ falls short of it’s title in quantity, but makes up for it in the sort of well-rounded surfing that we expect from a prospective tour ’employee’.
