Shane Dorian and a Kind Slice of Home

“I’ve been going over to Maui, it seems like every week and getting scared,” says Mr Dorian. “Then coming home is so relaxing, mellow and shredable.” Mr Dorian’s gifted us with some of the year’s best waves out at Jaws and it’s not too often we’re reminded how well he works waves of less-consequence. Here we get him at home, surfing with the grom (how as that rail grab turn at 1:44?), and making good use of his fore and backhand. Fair warning, the song choice isn’t our preferred, but we’ll take a Doz edit any day of the week.
