Product Testing In Forbidden Balinese Delights

Despite the “no surfing” orders enforced by Bali police during their first Covid lockdown, Lee Wilson managed to sneak in a couple of sessions. Some were permitted, others, not so much. His covert operations came with the purpose of testing a 5’5 twin fin with a stabilizer, courtesy of Efwun X Serpent ‘Medusa’.

While Lee may have struggled to find an open wave — one where he wouldn’t be asked to leave after 20 minutes — he had no problems jamming the 2+1 into creative spaces.

Was trying the forbidden fruit worth the slap on the wrist from local authorities? After a two-hour window at Sanur right with nobody out, we’re going to assume the answer is yes.
