Occ-Cast: Kai ‘Borg’ Garcia On The North Shore

We’ve now hit episode 35 in Occ-Cast and Occy’s showing no signs of slowing down yet. There’s innumerable names in the surf community and innumerable-plus-one stories to be shared.

This latest ep is with Kai ‘Borg’ Garcia. A former Jiu-Jitsu World Champion and Hawaiian royalty, hearing from the intimidating, yet inspiring Kai Borg is always a pleasure.

Here, Occ and Kai talk about getting fit post-heart attack, the benefits of sobriety, the next generation of Hawaiian surfers and whatever else Occ has jotted down on his laptop.
