Two Minutes of Basque Beauty
A day’s drive through Northern Spain with Natxo Gonzalez
The coast of Northern Spain is as beautiful and bestrewn with surf as any in the world, the lush Basque hillside rolling to craggy cliffs and secluded beaches, with dozens and dozens of set ups scattered along the Atlantic coastline.
As one of the Basque Country’s most beloved (and hard-charging) rising stars, Natxo Gonzales has spent his fair share exploring the region. This little short (doubling as a very subtle Mercedes ad), made by his good friend and talented Basque filmmaker, Jon Aspuru, gives a little taste of what the boys in Spain can find just a short drive down the coast.
