Noah Waggy Stars In ‘Just For Kicks’
Oh how he shines!
Noah ‘Waggy’ Wegrich is the happiest, most humble professional surfer not named Gudauskas. He’s always smiling, he gets along with everyone, and he seems genuinely pleased to be anywhere/doing anything surf-related. On top of all that, he’s got a unique style — something akin to a scarecrow on psychedelics — that is wildly pleasing to the eye. All of which make Waggy an ideal travel companion for a surf cinematographer.
Maybe that’s why the Bay Area’s Perry Gershkow chose to center his newest film, ‘Just for Kicks’, around the towheaded Santa Cruzian. For this film Noah and Perry, alongside a handful of international sliders, traveled throughout California and, interestingly, to the tip of South Africa. The movie is basically a J-Bay sandwich with Golden State buns, and it’s a damn fun watch.
Let this be your lunch break special.
