This Saturday Misfit Are Going To Allow You To Road Test Their Shapes In Bondi

And take a cool $100 off if you like what you’re feeling!

Firstly, nobody’s guaranteeing you’re gonna get the right waves to master the idiosyncrasies of a fresh Misfit blade in one sitting, it is Bondi remember, not exactly the most controlled test environment.

You might’ve seen that Misfit recently moved in downstairs from Stab’s Gould St HQ, gutting the existing Globe store, erecting artwork and hanging their range of groovy looking shapes throughout the space.

During our fresh relations here upstairs at Stab we’ve acquired an affection for their boards, particularly their Beach Metall twinnies and Diamond Dancer thrusters.

Well this Saturday they’re gonna hand us (and you!) the keys to give em a spin.

As of today the Sydney Metro forecast is calling for a couple of feet from south (ideal), accompanied by fresh wonk-inducing easterly winds (not ideal). Honest, real world conditions you might say.

Keeping a positive head on, charts this ugly might deter some of the Eastern Suburb’s ravenous weekend warriors. And if you grab a fresh whip from the store, keep standards reasonable, dodge the flailing backpackers and manage to briefly steer down the line, get a little speed and maybe wet a rail, well it’s all up from there with your new fibreglass friend.

If the chemistry the pair of you experience isn’t enough to seal the deal, Misfit are going to take $100 off the retail price. They’re also offering to hand over apparel packs of a similar value. There ought to be more incentives like that.

So this Saturday after 9am (and before 1pm), stroll down Gould Street, grab a bean from our friends across the way at Sonoma, shake Misfit shaper, Dave Howell’s hand, grab a board and get busy out the front.

It might be wise to do some prior research, so go here, now.
