Mason Ho And Sheldon Paishon Pay Homage To The Wedge
A SoCal ritual suffused with sand.
I think I’ve spent enough time praising the surf capabilities of Mason Ho and Sheldon Paishon, so can we just focus on the brilliance of Ho and Pringle from a production standpoint? It’s truly something special.
They’re consistent. Not only with entertaining edits, but also with the releases. Much like your favorite podcast, Ho and Pringle run on a set schedule, making sure the die-hard fans know precisely when the next thing is coming. We’ve become so conditioned to their delivery method to the point where the anticipation starts on Thursday night. The layout of each video is the same; surfing, dings, and credits.
Where Mason and Sheldon differentiate their product is with the surfing itself. They’re explosive, erratic, and willing to risk limbs for a quick taste of glory. While it may seem like a simple elementary layout, it’s a complex balance of familiarity and variety, which resonates well with consumers.
