Luke Hynd Samples A Smorgasbord Of Portuguese Delights
Flat-bottomed caverns, feathering lips, and ornate walls are all on the menu.
Louie Hynd is the type of guy that will paddle 20 meters deeper than the pack, slide into the most treacherous part of an already-scary wave, and kick out down the line with a synchronized, but not ostentatious, hair flip.
In fairness, Luke’s proclivities for style and panache reside deep within his genetic makeup, as his Uncle Derek (no, not Ho) paved the path of seamless sliding decades before Luke entered this world.
On a recent voyage to Portugal, Luke sampled all manner of surf, from flat-bottomed caverns, to feathering lips, to ornate walls, making each wave form look more appealing, and dare we say manageable, than the last.
Bound together by Darcy Ward’s artistic tapestry, this is a short you won’t want to miss.
