Laura Enever Tracks A Super-Typhoon To Japan

Ahhh, Japan. The world’s most modern and exotic cultural hub, with an ideal blend of eastern & western traditions and stellar waves to boot. 

Mind you, I’ve never been. So perhaps Laura Enever can describe the 7,000-island nation a bit more eloquently.

In this ‘Know the Feeling’ ep, Laura joins Japanese surf stars Natsumi Taoka and Shino Matsuda—the latter of which will likely compete in the 2020 2021 202_ Olympic Games—for a trip around the archipelago chasing Super Typhoon Hagibis. 

While the surf never quite comes together (a plot we know all too well), the piece still manages to enamor one with the land of Andy Iron’s boardshorts.
