Lakey Peterson Sends A Warning Shot To Carissa Moore

A win at the lululemon Pro at Honolua Bay would earn Lakey Peterson her maiden World Title.
In that sense, Lakey’s fate is in entirely her own hands. It doesn’t matter what Caroline or Carissa do, so long as Lakey takes the trophy, she’ll also take the crown.
Depending on Lakey’s character, that idea would be either comforting or terrifying.
If the Californian is truly confident in her abilities, the fact that she controls her own destiny would increase her hunger and make the end goal seem infinitely attainable. If, however, Lakey’s facing any doubts about her World Title worthiness, the idea of having to win this event to walk away Queen would be extremely daunting. The kinda thing that would keep a gal up at night.
Our guess? Lakey’s sleeping just fine.
Honolua will most likely start this Sunday and finish on Monday. Who will wear the crown?
