Lakey Peterson Didn’t Waste Her Quarantine In Sleepy California
Instead, she put that new wifey visa status to great use.
Back in 2019, with friends and family as their witness, Lakey Peterson let a handsome Aussie slip a ring on her fourth finger.
While love was always the true basis of Thomas and Lakey’s nuptials, one cannot downplay the benefit of marrying someone who was born beyond their own nation’s borders…especially when the partner’s country has superior surf.
In Lakey’s case, marrying Mr. Allan gave her unfettered access to the Australian continent, including all of its glorious coastlines. This became especially enticing when covid struck, leaving Lakey with not one but two potential locations in which to “distance” herself from society: her childhood home of Santa Barbara, CA, or her hubby’s coastal haven of Torquay, Australia.
One can assume that Lakey and her beau didn’t speculate for too long before electing Australia as the superior option. Hell, even Kelly Slater did the same thing, shacking up in the renowned prisoner colony until his visa ran out.
The video above highlights some of the finer moments from Lakey’s extended stay on the great island nation.
